Mental Health & Emotional Regulation
Many people report a sense of calm after their session and an improvement in their mental wellbeing
When observing the body from the Holistic viewpoint, Mind and Body are one. Health concerns can impact mental health, and mental health can impact physical wellbeing.
Many people visit a Chinese Medicine clinic and speak about symptoms like Anxiety, Low Mood, Depression, Stress, Overwhelm, Insomnia, and hormonal emotional problems associated with Peri-Menopause, PMS and PMDD.
Your session may include Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Dietary Therapy and other lifestyle recommendations, for:
Nervous system regulation
Increased feeling of calm and ease
Supporting overall wellbeing
When working to improve emotional and mental health, your practitioner prefers to work alongside your GP, Counsellor, Psychologist, Psychiatrist or other support you receive.

THE EMOTIONS OF CHINESE MEDICINE
Each of the Elements and Organ systems in Chinese Medicine resonates with an emotional or a state of being. Some of these emotions are considered to be ‘positive’ and others ‘negative’. The idea is that when the organ-meridian system is in balance, the positive state will be present, and when out of balance, the negative emotions may come up repeatedly.
Fire resonates with the Heart and Small Intestine. Emotions include Joy, Appreciation, Lack of enthusiasm, Restlessness
Earth resonates with the Spleen and stomach. Emotions include Compassion, Responsibility, Worry, Self Pity, Low Self Worth
